In an era of fake news, the drive towards a world of perfect information is opening new frontiers. One way to make yourself useful? Help consumers spot fake and hoax information, and alert others to it. Do battle with post-truth in the name of truth!

Launched in Indonesia in December 2016, Turn Back Hoax is a Chrome plug-in allowing users to report news, content and images they suspect to be a hoax. Individuals can leave notes on documents, which are visible on a public forum, and can be refuted or validated by other users. Turn Back Hoax was developed by members of Indonesia’s Anti-Defamation Society.
