What does your brand have in its back pocket that could empower 1 million disadvantaged children? Sprint have smartphones covered…
In October 2016, Sprint announced that it would give away one million internet-connected devices to help disadvantaged US high school students get online. Set to launch in January 2017, the network’s 1Million Project aims to help bridge the ‘homework gap’ for children who live in low-income households without reliable internet access. Sprint will issue mobile devices, including tablets and laptops, along with a free data plan to ensure underprivileged students can complete research, contact teachers and submit job applications.
