Quikr — App helps citizens access cash from ATMs across India

Launched in India in November 2016, CashNoCash is an online portal that tells people whether a nearby bank or ATM has cash available to dispense. Users can search for the nearest ATM based on their current location, as well as having visibility on waiting times and whether or not an ATM has been recently refilled. The platform is crowdsourced, so members can also contribute information. The initiative was created by India-based advertising platform Quikr in response to the demonetization of certain banknotes by the Government of India.
