yeezy — Hijab-wearing model takes to New York’s runways

At February 2017’s New York Fashion Week, Halima Aden walked in Kanye West’s Yeezy fashion show. Celebrated on the global stage, the 19-year-old Somali-American model is signed to IMG agency and wears a hijab. In November 2016, Aden was the first hijab-wearing participant in the Miss Minnesota USA beauty pageant.
