kamaleon — Touring vehicle tackles rural areas’ lack of internet access
December 2016 saw marketing and advertising agency Kamaleon launch an initiative to tackle poor internet access in rural areas of Mozambique. Addressing infrastructural issues, the Community Tablet truck is powered by solar panels, features several large tablets and has a refrigeration system to cool down the equipment when traveling in hot weather conditions. With the vast majority of the population disconnected from the internet, the vehicle targets schools, health departments and hospitals.
