Food delivery service Foodpanda recently announced a partnership with Gnowbe and Temasek Polytechnic to offer delivery people in Singapore access to free and discounted courses. Gnowbe is a mobile-first educational platform targeted towards employers, and offers programs in bite-sized units. Micro-learning is a natural fit for riders, allowing them to squeeze in some education while waiting for orders to come through.
Currently on offer are free courses in customer service and discounts on other courses. Participants will receive certificates on completion. Foodpanda — a subsidiary of Berlin-based Delivery Hero operating in over 300 cities across Asia Pacific — previously offered webinars on finance and investing, after a survey indicated that riders were interested in learning about money management and financial literacy.
