1. Help: I subscribed, but I don't receive the Trend Briefing!
If you no longer receive trendwatching.com's monthly Trend Briefing, it is probably being blocked by your company or your ISP spam filter. This is something we have very little control over. The best thing, for now, is to check your spam filter (or your company's spam filter). If you would like to change your email address to another, less filter-prone address, the fastest way to do this is to unsubscribe your old email address first, then re-subscribe. You can unsubscribe here. If you need any further assistance, just email Michell Zappa.
2. What is trendwatching.com?

3. Who is behind trendwatching.com?
trendwatching.com founder Reinier Evers (37), a citizen of The Netherlands, is an accomplished trend watcher, entrepreneur, and presenter. He holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam, and has been fascinated with the online business revolution ever since being introduced to the nascent web in 1994 at New York University, where he studied Business Policy.
While at interactive agency AGENCY.COM in New York and London (1997-1999), he worked with global clients like British Airways, Texaco, Compaq, managing a team of strategists and analysts. Many of these projects involved trend spotting, business research, vision development and competitive analysis, making TRENDWATCHING.COM a natural progression of his activities.
Reinier was also a co-founder of Urbanbite, an online food delivery portal in the UK and the Netherlands, which was sold in 2001 to Lastminute.com, one of Europe's largest travel and entertainment firms.
Throughout his career, Reinier has been a keynote speaker at online industry events, workshops, and conferences in Europe (London, Amsterdam, Reykjavik, Malmo, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Madrid, Zurich), North America (New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, Toronto, San Juan), Middle East (Istanbul, Dubai), Asia Pacific (Singapore, Shanghai, Sydney, Melbourne), Africa (Johannesburg) and South America (Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo).
He has also been quoted as a trend expert in numerous business publications, including BusinessWeek, Time Magazine, The New York Times, The Guardian, Business 2.0, Die Zeit, Advertising Age, and leading blogs like buzzmachine.com, thelongtail.com and gapingvoid.com.
On a corporate level, Reinier has worked with leading brands like Coca Cola, O2, Young & Rubicam, KLM Airlines, SonyEricsson, Schiphol Airport, Electronic Arts, InterContinental Hotels Group, INSEAD, Fifth Third Bank, and Unilever.
If you're interested in having Reinier as a speaker/contributor at a corporate event or or third-party conference, please visit our Presentations page for more info.
